High Speed Cameras

The group has two high speed cameras. One with 10,000 fps and another one with 500,000 fps. The faster camera can use an intensifier for recording Transient Luminous Events (TLE).

UV Camera

UV sensitive cameras for streamer and leader research. These cameras are also used for the high voltage tests of lightning attachment of wind turbine blades according to the IEC 61400-24 .
