LMA Network

Thanks to ASIM Project (AYA2009-14027-C05-05), we installed the first VHF Lightning Mapping Array system in Europe for total lightning three-dimensional mapping. This system allows to map (space and time) individual flashes with thousands of detections. This system is a keystone of the present lightning research. Our Lightning Mapping Array will be the center of the Ebro Valley Laboratory. The system is composed by 12 VHF sensors.

LMA Stations

Some of LMA stations are fixed and some of them are portable. The portable stations allow us to carry out campaigns in different locations during lightning seasons.
